I am a big fan of Dave Smith decoys, but they are not the best on price.  Durability wise i would pick big foots on your list.  I have had some of mine for 20 years.  GHG paint comes off after a seasons use.

i have heard alot of good things about dave smith decoys and i have had the paint falling off expirence with goose decoys... but the pro grade mallard floaters i have are extremely durable and look great and decoys birds feet down... i have dakota xtreme honkers and they have been great to me looking excelent and very durable.. but im looking into getting a couple dozen bigfoots... what do you think price a durability wise on them??

Big foots are bullet proof decoys.  Some don't think they offer the realism of some of the others, but they continue to kill many geese.

The Dave Smith decoys are prolly my favorite looking decoy, they straight look amazing, price though i cant afford. I know guys that only use Big Foot cause they have amazing quality, but some are a little picky on the detail comparing them to the other big brands... as mentioned above, ive seen pictures and witnessed many geese falling over them. I have some GHG, they look nice but i dont think they'll handle abuse very well (havent used them yet) im prolly gonna continue to build my spread with Big foots though. Dakota again another really popular brand, i think they look awesome, quality ive heards great to.

thank you for the info i appreciate it... i have a dozen dakota right now.. and after i beat the crap out of them last season they still look awsome... but im starting to lean towards bigfoots now because of their price and durability since dakotas have jumped over $40 per 4

I have tried many different brands over the years.  I had to try some of the GHG pro-series.  I am missing half the paint on those now after a season, they initially looked great.  I am not an artist when it comes to painting so, I need my paint to last.  That is why I have upgraded my decoys to the new Dave Smith Ace decoys and I still have a few dozen Big Foots.  The others will be shed prior to hunting season.  I still keep my 12 dozen G & H Henryetta shells as well if I need something packable where I don't have trailer access.  I have had those for about 10 years as well.  I think those get used about 4-5 times per season at most.

Ive got bigfoots, GHG, Dave Smiths, and Hardcore. They all work just the same. Its the paint peeling or the decoys being to brittle that I have problems with. Biggest bang for the buck is Hardcore! Very lifelike and durrable. Light wieght, and 6 different possitions in a dozen. :twocents:
