Just like everyone else is saying..do your research, look at statistics etc. an area that I think you would have a blast hunting in is the san juan islands. There are a ton of black tails and very easy hunting. In some areas its any deer so you can use it as a meat hunt or wait and try to knock down a nice black tail. If you talk to people that have land on the islands a lot of the time they will let you hunt on their land because the deer come in and destroy their crops. Good luck!!

Appreciate all your suggestions and support. I'll continue researching and see if I can join a Sportsmans Club in my area soon. Very good point about keeping fit and in shape to prepare myself. With regards to weapon of choice, I'm thinking of getting a Semi Auto Rifle. Just saving some more $$$ and hope to get it next month  :).
Again, thanks for the feedback and tips.

One other thing....Do your best to talk friends and neighbors into voting to rid us of the liberal funk this state has been in for 25 years, being you both live here in the cradle of idiocrisy!  That will be how we might get hound hunting and other things back, and maybe loose less.
