quick spin fletching offset?

I've been fletching my own arrows and have been using the traditional 3" helical fletching.  I know many people gave this style up a decade ago by changing to shorter vanes.  Now it is time for me to make that move also! 
My primary purpose for the helical is stable broadhead flight in hunting situations (longer shots, wind, nerves....).  Strait vanes are great for the range or 3D tournaments, but for hunting I prefer an arrow that is a little more forgiving.

Can quick spin vanes be offset? Do they give as much spin as a 3" helical?  How do they perform with broadheads?

I feel like I'm making a big move going to short vanes!

quick spins are designed to be set at a  1 degree off set, this is according to the quick spin website.

i use them for my hunting darts and they work great havent had any problems, i can get good groups at 60 yards with BH's i wont shoot deer that far but they will fly that far without problems.

I shot my quick spins today and was disappointed.  I did not have any problems fletching the arrows, but during flight they made an obvious "wssssssssssssssp" sound.  I think I will stick to my standard 3" helical vanes.

Has this happend to anybody else out there?

RPM - I've done quite a bit of testing with most if not all the newer short vanes.  All of them make a good bit more noise than the older 3" plus vanes.  And A LOT more noise than my old standard 3.6" Flex-Fletch.  I've fletched the NAP vanes straight to 3 degree helical with good results in performance.  Though the full+ helical did increase noise level.  It also increased noise level with Blazer, Max Hunter, Fusion, etc. but the harsh environment control has swayed me towards becoming a believer.

I took three elk with an ACC 3-60 fletched with four full helical Blazers at 290 fps.  That setup was the noisiest I have tested and yet all three just stood there and took the arrow before bolting.  I pooched a shot  and put one of those arrows at the feet of a nice blacktail buck in the Fall River.  He leaned forward and sniffed the arrow while my second shot landed two inches from the first.  He didn't stick around for a third.

I have always wondered if they hear fletching noise before it smacks em anyway. Like...you know your alive when you hear the bullet wizz. Or if they do hear it, is it too late? I know whats gonna happen here..a few people will tell me they had deer duck the arrows cause the deer heard the arrow coming..and of course I cant prove they have or have not had that happen to them. I can also say that its not definitive or even researched to the point were facts can be derived from any statement for or against any arguements in regard to fletching noise spooking game. 

I dont think ive ever talked to anyone who said..damn..I missed..my fletching spooked the bull. However...ive heard all kinds of stuff, so it would suprise me. 

I am a huge believer in the newer shorter, high helical set ups. Away with the old, and on with the new is what I say when it comes to fletching. I just wish I could see them in flight like I used to see my old flex fletch 5inchers..
