How about some exotics ! (Charlies Taxidermy)
« on: June 27, 2011, 12:50:43 PM »
This is the first time I have had a chance to mount these little goofy lookin critters, 4 horns or Jacobs Rams. All I know is the dang wool on these things hold every piece of garbage, stick, hair .... whatever somes into contact with them and are a pian to groom. Cant really use a bruch because it take the tangles out so you pretty much have to hand pick it all out if you want to keep the natural look to the mount. Anyway, enjoy the pictures.

 Here is the first sheep.

Those are raised for wool and meat so realistically should be sheared at least once a year, hence the reason for so much crud in the wool it was likely unshorn...I almost raised those but opted for hornless breeds due to my kids when I was raising primitive sheep.

very very cool mount ....

The words,  'Mounting' and 'Sheep', should not be used in the same sentence.

As for the Jacobs Ram... I'd shoot it, just to put that mutant out of my misery!

Great lookin taxi work though.. Very nice.
