Anderson hunts with the "killingest" whitetail slaying crew on the Palouse!   Do you guys still line them up like you used to?

:chuckle: Nope, the crew has thinned out a bit, so our line ups have been pretty weak compared to what they used to be.  We haven't had to add any braces to keep the roof joists from sagging in quite a few years.

I have permission to hunt land along the snake river breaks.  I don't seem to see as many whitetail bucks in the breaks.  Most of the deer I've seen are muleys (but lots of whitetail does the last few years).  Maybe I should stay up in the farmland area and toward the palouse river?

Palouse buck.

We got hit with blue tongue about 4 years ago at the river and it devastated the whitetail herd.   It is coming back slowly.

I would hunt wherever I had access and be happy about it.

My nephew's late season Palouse buck from last year - taken within 15 minutes of legal shooting light on the last day of the season.  Darn kids...
