ATTENTION: Tieton A sheep hunters
« on: June 28, 2011, 12:04:41 PM »
The dates for Tieton A are wrong in the 2011 regulations. The actual date is Sept 15th thru Sept 30th. I have talked to 2 people with the Tieton A tags (one of which was a WDFW employee) that thought they had until Oct 30. The correction is listed on the WDFW website.

Just talked to my buddy who drew it last night and he told me you had told him that. . . That's too bad really, I wonder how many people put that hunt first choice because of the nice long season?  Will still be a great hunt and a OIL at that, but still.  If it's printed that way, that's the way it should be, it's not the hunters fault they screwed up.  :twocents:

By the way Elkstuffer, Bart is VERY excited about all the help you've given him!  We've talked about it over the phone for a good 30 minutes every time I talk to him since he drew. He'll do is best to make the most out of that tag, no doubt about it.

Alan,

Elkstuffer knows his stuff.  He has an aquaintence that also knows these rams so he is connected. Do you know when you are making the first scouting trip?  I have a prety tight hunting schedule from here on out, but if I am not doing anything I would be willing to donate a few hours to show you what I know.
