I like the way they look DEAD a lot better than alive :chuckle:  Nice job!  I hope you get 2000 more this year to do.

over all i think you did very well.. im sure you learned a few things along the way... predators are always harder to mount... the biggest thing that sticks out to me are the ears... i believe they need to be pulled up higher on his head... if you look at the gap between the ears on your wolf and the one in the picture you see the  difference.. and i tried to pick a picture of a somewhat relaxed alret pose for a reference pic... but overall awesome job :tup:

I 100% agree with the ear position . Under the circumstances though , I thought I had posted earlier but the hide was completely "dead" up around the neck and head , It was real hard to even get the hide Taxi'ed to where I needed it to go. I actually had to pull the hide, pin it in place , and then let go . It was real tough getting things in place. The hide in between the ears had no give , when I tried to move them closer together but the hide would just bunch up real bad, its kind of hard to explain. I really did not like the tan at all. Would have been great for a soft skin, but as a mountable tan it was about the worst I had used. It was tanned in Canada.

in that case man you did an amazing job!.. i completely understand the "dead" hide problems... cant wait to see what you can do with the next wolf!!

I see the smile now very nice, and very correct, nice job.  I just see them in my eyes as mean and nasty animals.

Looks just fine to me! If someone wants to compare then tell them to go sneak up on a sleeping one and measure it  :chuckle:
