my "new" drop away
« on: July 27, 2011, 03:15:12 PM »
just wanted to show my "new" drop away i fabricated. We bought a used bow for my fiance and it was RTH but we had a different rest, so we took off the one and put hers on. I took the old one and made it into a drop away and it works alot better than my heavy 2in over draw i took off. The pic is kinda blury. I plan on buying one after early season so if you have any suggestions feel free. I was thinking of trophy taker.

i know it looks ghetto but im telling you it works real well. I have grouping of 2in or so at 40 yrds with field tips. About 2x better than the old two prong rest

Thats awesome! We kinda had this conversation about rests already in another thread. But Im here to tell you that the QAD (Quality Archery Designs) line of Ultra Rests are what you want. Seems people either like the trophy taker or the QAD. Ive shot em both and the QAD wins every time hands down.  :twocents:

I'd rather ask forgiveness than permission!
