I have an elk that I need to finish an antler mount on. I want to know what type of material to use to cover the skull portion. Any ideas?

Here are some pics of a deer mount that I did a few years back and used a tanned deer hide.

Leather. You can order an antler kit I believe from several Taxidermy suppliers. McKenzie Taxidermy Supply and VanDykes taxidermy Supply have them. Reasurch might as well.
