What about Bigfoot?
« on: July 05, 2011, 06:53:09 PM »
Aren't all the wolves going to make poor bigfoot go hungry?  I heard that bigfoot likes to eat deer.  If the wolves keep invading the state (and the wolf huggers get the 15 breeding pairs that they want) will there be enough deer left to support the WA bigfoot population?   :dunno:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

With any luck, bigfoot will chage his diet to wolf. As he travels the state, he can saple different wof packs  :cue:

I hope bigfoot lives up in my neck of the woods because there is plenty of deer for him to eat... If wolves move in any thicker there aint gunna be many deer left... Bigfoot must be a sportsman....

I was thinking about writing to the WDFW Commission to complain about the wolves running bigfoot out of the state. ;)  But then proposing 15 BP's of wolves is more far fetched than the existence of bigfoot, so maybe they could give the bigfoot issue some thought.............. I mean squatch has to eat too, right?   :chuckle:  Why should WDFW let squatch suffer in order to have a large wolf population?  :dunno:

Years ago, I called the Game Dept (as it was known back in them days) and asked to buy a Bigfoot tag.

The nice lady giggled and said "We don't sell Bigfoot tags."

Says I, in return, "Why not?"

Says she: "They don't exist."

My reaction: "They don't exist? How the hell do you know they don't exist?"

Says she: "Look, we do not sell Bigfoot tags because NOBODY has ever seen one in the woods. Have YOU ever seen a Bigfoot in the woods?"

I paused for a second to think about that.

"Well, you guys sell elk tags, don't you?"

No, believe it or not Bigfoot is a vegetarian.  ONe reason you never see evidence left behind. Not a meat eater.  He doesn't like water either!

I actually witnessed a bigfoot put a radio collar on a wolf and release it up north of Sullivan Lake one time.  It was hard to tell at first that it was a bigfoot, because the Conservation Northwest uniform he was wearing was a bit deceiving.  But as he drove away in his truck I got a real good look at him through my spotting scope and sure enough - it was a bigfoot.  What's even more weird .... about a half mile down the road I saw him pull over and meet up with a WDFW agent.  The agent handed him what appeared to be a small bobcat, but upon closer inspection I could clearly see it was a Lynx.  The bigfoot and WDFW agent hi-fived and the bigfoot drove off with the Lynx.  Lord knows where he released that :dunno:

Probably within the last few days over on the Manastash or Taneum somewhere they've got the roads shut down...
