Crappie and Smallies
« on: July 08, 2011, 07:54:28 PM »
I got off of work today at noon and decided to take the wife and the youngest boy out for a quick fishing trip.

We have quite a few little spots we like to hit from the bank when we are not on the boat and decided to hit one close to home. The fishing was great with a total of about 30 smallies to the bank and 15 or so crappie. (All released back and ready to be caught again)

I just thought I'd share a few pics from the better catches of the afternoon.

am jealous
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

LOL....aw damn! Man, that spot is no major secret, just that most folks tend to overlook that little inlet. I'm never one to keep spots from others anyway....as long as I get my crack at it now and again.

Very nice!! Lived in clarkston a few years ago and loved fishing for the smallies and crappie there. Went back last summer with my 3 yr old and she had a blast catching the crappie.
