Its been a long time, but I remember seeing mulies and whitetail up there. I had permission to hunt private land..but he sold his land and the new owners dont want hunters.... :ACRY:

anyone know of a good public land area is up there? I also miss turkey hunting up there too. I guess the colville area is better though..

Most of the stateland gets hammered but there is a good amount of public land around here. There is 7,000 acres of public land down by fishtrap

There is also 12,500 acres south of Creston on Highway 2. DNR land, Swanson Lake. I pulled a 116" three point muley out of there in the 90's.  But like stated above it gets hammered opening day. Get there really early, get set, and let everybody else out there move them around for you. No Whitetails out there though.
