I am at 1300 with everything.  My wife has the camera or I would post my Hoyt.

If you loose an arrow with a broadhead your out at least $20 per shot.  I think I am at about $23 per arrow during hunting season.  I make sure it's a good shot.

Used Longbow; $225, quiver; $90 (a splurge), rug rest; $2, self-made bowstring; $7, 1/2 dozen self-made arrows; $54, self-made fletching-cover; $2, tip protector; $5, turkey feather; free.

Total of $385.  ;)
I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. doesn't to me, bow retails at 1200 and i don't see 1300 worth of gear sitting there so i sure hope there's stuff not in the picture. i mean unless the sight was 300, the arrows were 300, the broad heads were 300, the quiver was 100, the rest was 250, and the stabilizer was 250. so yah if that all you bought i think you got screwed.
they call me the bloodhound cause i can track a wounded animal in the rain for 2 days when all it has is a splinter.. sniff sniff awooo

Wrong draw length 2 twice, new cams 3rd set of strings, arrows cut to short for wrong drawlength, new arrows twice! see where I'm going. By the way here's a break down Arrows $140 a doz cut wraped 4 fletched g nocks will say $200 a dozen, sight $230, Quiver $140, Stab $100 Release $90, $100 for the arrow rest, Bow will say $1,300 after tax so that's? $2160  so really probably into it closer to 3K if your that intrested. Not starting anything or jackin a thread so lets keep them rollin!!!
