I couldn't find a pic of just my bow but I had this one.  From Left to Right.  My Dad's Hoyt Maxxis 35,  My Hoyt Alpha Max 32, and My Wife's Hoyt Kobalt.

Just realized that I don't have a picture of my bow without something dead next to it.  Didn't ask my hunting partner if I could use his picture, so whited it out.

Coues buck in AZ last Jan.

But love of the wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need - if only we had eyes to see.

This is my cook mountain El gato its a 65# @ 28 and draws silky smooth with no stack.I ordered it through bull mnt archery in Vancouver.I had it made custom and told them to make it with a combination of woods that would be different from anything normally seen. it shoots fast and uses self arrows with a Martin leather quiver.ol

I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. Probably around $1500 - $1600.  I also purchased 4 more packs of the G5 Montecs and another dozen Beeman ICS Hunter arrows.  I have a new Trijicon archery site coming as well, so that will be close to $500 alone.  It adds up fast.
