Checked cams...disappointing
« on: July 08, 2011, 01:53:10 AM »
I went up to my spot  and checked 4 cams I had out... 2 week soak.. One had very promising buck on it split brows and g4's already started in June...I saw another mature buck when heading in last time with high hopes of seeing them on cam this time, another cam was set up on a brand new spot due to the last soak had 1 deer on it in a month, 3rd cam was being pounded hard by the deer and the 4 th cam had a variety of critter, bears, moose and deer also saw a nice buck here the last time in and again high hopes that there would be pics.

I check my most promising cam...only to see 3 horses on the SD card and 1 little buck ugh... now back down to new spot... small buck, couple does a cow elk and a bobcat...not bad for a new spot... down farther to the 3 rd cam lots of pics of a moose just laying on salt and some young bucks.. 4th cam  same moose found salt  :chuckle:...small bucks and one with a promising future if he makes it 2 years...overall a very disappointing trip out with 4 cams out... I am still trying to figure out the horse issue..nobody seems to know anything about them anf they are just wandering on timber co land. few pics

Nothing wrong with either of those. Id say you have a new spot!
