Nice job Yelp, I started a thread a couple weeks ago about Rufus being on fire. We caught a few walleye when the trips would let our bait get to the bottom. Banks and Rosie only put out small fish for us on that trip.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

I've been out for the last 5 days on the river down here. Fishing's been good. A lot of dinks which is good to see and a few good ones mixed in. Ended up 3rd in the boardman tourney this weekend.

We had 7 fishermen at the Lodge last week-end and everyone took limits. Size range from 16 to 21 inches. No lunkers yet. They brought their own trophy and presented it to the angler with biggest fish . Had a great time.

That is pretty cool.  I have been by your lodge a few times.  I am heading up there this weekend to do some camping/fishing with the family. What colors seemed to be the best? You guys fish the area out there by the lodge?  I have caught lots of them around there in the past.  I really like your set up there at the lodge.  We camped just down the road from you this last spring.  Hunting them turkeys!  Thanks for the report!

Hey Yelp,
Been on Banks three times this year and sure can't seem to get on a good bite. Even this past weekend only managed a dozen or so. Thinking about the Roof this weekend or maybe a trip to Roosey.

Well here is an update for you walleye guys out there.  Roosevelt has been pretty dependable. Fish moved around a lot since they raised the lake.  Fish slow death and crankbaits,,some worm rigs. Banks has been good but it is dropping fast.  Here are a few pics..first one was a big girl from Kettle Falls Area, then a few Banks Lake walleyes.  Any one else been out? I forgot to mention I released all of them too!

Man! I've heard the reports from where I think you were. I've been trying to make it out but just haven't had time. I did get down to Mcnary the other day and whacked em pretty good but it'd be fun to get out and pull some plugs.

Nice Fish!

My parents went to Potholes last week and didn't get any walleye.  Got a couple decent trout though.

86 year old retired pastor Herb Parrish from Loon Lake caught this eatin' size walleye yesterday out in front of the Lodge. We caught a mess of them before the rain and wind sent us to the boat launch. He usually fishes Loon Lake at night for slivers. He has caught 250 of the yummy silvers this year. Great friend and great fisherman.
