Fall away rests?

Hello , I know it's getting way to close to the september opener to be doing this but I want to switch from my wisker biscuit to a fall away rest. Theres so many to choose from I'm not sure wich one to go with. I was kinda thinking about the rip cord code red but I don't know. does anyone know of a good fall away rest thats not real real spendy? Thanks for your help!

i have used the rip cord for several years and liked it, now i have a qad rest and love that rest. the features on it are great and they have cheaper models if you want. or you could get trophy taker and not worry about anything, theres very few moving parts, simple.

Your not to close to change. Get it set up right and you'll be dialed in no time. if your bow was previously well tuned and the new rest is set up properly you should have very little change in your setup, certainly nothing you cant get resolved. I shoot a TT pronghorn and have shot TT rests on all my setups for the last 10 years, one VERY minor problem was easily fixed. I hear good stuff about several different fall aways including the ripcord. If purchasing a new rest today I would lean toward one that " captures" the arrow, several models on the market right now.

I bought my first Trophy taker pronghorn rest when Dan was still selling them in ziploc baggies with typed set up instruction (yes on a typewriter) off the hood of his truck after 3d shoots back in the ealry/mid 90's.  I shot that rest off three different bows and 6 years ago switched to a Trophy taker shaky hunter and put the Pronghorn on my Dad's bow.  The trophy taker is indestructible as far as I've seen and performs flawlessly.

Looks nice, but also like a lot of mechanical parts that might fail.

I will 2nd or 3rd the QAD Ultra, I really like mine. but a question why would you want to change from the W/B? Everyone that I know that shoots them loves them.
