TL, I like the old A5. Always have. But I'm looking for the newest fangled of the new fangled... then back it down a notch to save a few hundred. (Black, no recoil arrest, etc.)
I'm not that worried about the recoil, just one of the things I didn't like about the synthetic 870 Super.
I guess cutting my teeth on that OU made me love the heft, legnth and balance of the break action. I held a SBE II at SW, and it felt beautiful. If I don't have to pump I don't have to have my hand extended so far, makes the stretch more like the old "S686 Special" I lucked into when I was a kid with a pocket full of sorted fish, crab, and bucked hay in my pocket!
