how many years have you been elk hunting? how many elk?

Since 1981, but only got to hunt 9 years due to being gone during a lot of them thanks to Uncle Sam's Canoe club....

9 years - 1 bull, 6 cows.  Now the bull was a raghorn and 3 of the cows were in Idaho.....

15 years archery - 1 elk. Big bull story from last year, but didn't get to drop the string.

35 years hunting went 11 years w/o a shot last 24 years 14 bulls (3- 5x5  2 4x4  9 spikes) and last year tagged a fat cow, then I realized some cows are bigger than spikes !

17 years hunting, killed 12 bulls, two with rifle back when you could hunt bow and then rifle if you did not score early, the other ten bulls, all 5 point or better with archery equipment.

Started hunting elk when I was 11 killed first elk at 14,killed an elk every year until I was 44 am now 49 and have not hunted elk since I was 44. Taken cows, spikes,up 5X5,with archery,muzzle and rifle all on the west side.
