I'm pretty sure if that buck sticks his head out during the season he's gonna get popped.  Your lookin at a definate 5x4 possible 5x5 with I'd guess 14" spread with plenty of growing time left in him.  If he walked in front of my smokepole, he'd get licked.  But then again, I'm looking to fill the freezer and any horn is a bonus.

You'd thionk a Moose that size would have bigger......antlers.  :chuckle:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

thats the 5mega pixel IR.. I paid $80 around christmas time for those.

I felt really dirty after seeing that pic... the moose I think is a voyuer... almost every pic is of his ass the last month  :chuckle:

I am sure the buck will end as a 5x5... not what I am looking for in size..he lives in a very limited hunting area. I am curious to watch him grow over the next 2 years. A big 4x4 I watched last season has re surfaced this year..thought he died from the bad winter in the area.Looks like he will be the same size are regressed a tad

I checked mine yesterday.  All I got was a single cow moose.  I was expecting better results.  There is a bear in the area, saw fresh bear crap so I wouldn't mind seeing him on the camera.  Figured I'd leave it for a couple weeks and give them a little more time to find the trophy rock.  Then if I don't have anything next time it's getting moved.

Here is the cam he is using. I also run them.
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=tasco+camera&N=0&InitialSearch=yes

They are good cameras for the money and take surprisingly good photos. I have owned 7 of them now. Two of them are new, two of them had the flash burn out after thousands of photos, three of them work fine but all the daylight pictures have a red/purple tint due to a stuck IR filter.

DB,
So what about the ones that broke? Get a refund/replacement from Tasco?

They were both just over the one year warranty so I trashed them and didn't try to talk to Tasco. However they easily had over 8 months of solid use with thousands of photos. I felt like I got my money's worth out of them.

Sounds great! I have yet to take the plunge. Still trying to decide between a smoker and a trail cam for my next plunge.
