i dont know jack diddly about bow fishn but i do know a couple of places with more carp than you can shake a stick at, use to catch the crap outta them on doe balls and garlic but i always turned them loose, they arent good eatn are they?

I guess it depends on what your taste buds tell ya :chuckle: I know that some people eat them. They do a lot of harm to sport fish eggs like bass,blue gill,catfish etc. It's good to take out as many as one can.

there was a time when my dad took me to this pond, we always called it petes pond, but anyways the water got real low that year and created a damn so on the little side of the pond the carp were trapped in about a foot of water, well we broke down a few rapalas for there treble hooks and just had a blast snagn carp and chunkn them on to the bank we ended up with 43 carp and by the time we had left there a few ratcoons going to town on them, i was 9 or 10 at the time so you can imagine hookn into a 10 lb carp at that age, dudes it was a blast, i should get a bow and go back there cause that looks like alot of fun
