I shoot the Sims a lot and really enjoy it.  They say it is all about "Shootability" and it has that for sure.

The IBO speeds are obtained at IBO standards and to achieve that with the DZ-32 that means the Large cam is used.  If you got that Wholesale Sports screaming deal they had it probably has the small cam at 28" draw.  Depending on the length of your arrow the numbers don't seem that far off to me.

Duke Savora had a good saying in regards to speed, "I'd rather kill 'em at 200 than miss 'em at 400."  Speed is nice to have, but meat in the freezer is even nicer.

Welcome to the DeadZone!!!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I shoot the same bow as you, I have had it for 2 years now and i love it, i have a 74 lb draw weight, and 28 1/2 draw length on mine. With my gold tips it is shooting 272 fps and i also have the Easton Axis arrows that shoot 287 fps, like "button nubbs" said, the bow companies will always inflate the numbers to make the bow seem faster than other bows, It is definately fast enough to penetrate at 70, 80, 90, and 100 yrds for a kill as long as your shot placement is good. It is a very good and reliable bow and you will learn to be very comfortable with it, limbsaver makes a good product and they have a lifetime warranty if you buy them from the factory in Shelton. They will also usually do custom work for you if you ask, such as paper tune your bow, put protective line in your D-loop, custom line on your peep sight so it is sure not to move, and also will put line around the string of your fall away. I will never use a different bow than a limbsaver as long as they keep making their quality work the same or better.
Hope it works good for you

Hey there,

I currently work at LimbSaver.  I really appreciate this post.  Thank you for the good feed back.  At LImbSaver we offer a Lifetime warranty on ALL our bows no matter where they were purchased.  The speeds you guys have are consistent with a LEGAL hunting arrow for Washington State.  Meaning you have to have 6 grains per pound of pull.  So 70lbs would require a minimum of 420grains for a hunting arrow.  That is 70grains more than an arrow used to get IBO.  Carpsniper is right, To get IBO you just need 350 grains at 30 Draw with a 70lb pull.  Most hunting setups are not even close to these numbers since most people dont have a 30 draw.

Thanks for the great feedback!
Corey
