I have shot both. They have both worked great. The muzzy's blades are usually bent when they hit bones if you can locate the arrow afterwards. I had a little whistling issue with Montec and I picked up a new bow and haven't noticed it to bad as of late. I practice with 6 Montec G5's, but screw on new ones for hunting in order to have sharp blades. If they get dull you may have issue putting down the animal quickly.
Keep them sharp.

I used 4 blade 90 grain muzzys for years and they killed alot of animals, changed to the G-5's in 09 and have killed 2 elk, I like the montecs better because of there 1 piece design and they are easy to sharpen.
