barbara likes to quote "respected peer reviewed journalism" in an article that mentions the epidemic of lyme disease coming if we don't have wolves controlling the deer and elk, but strangely that article makes no mention of the worms the wolves are carrying that are much more virulent?  great article, barb!

i added some useful links to resources for the coming years... little red riding hood, the boy who cried wolf and the three little pigs.  funny how it's always "the big bad wolf" not "the beautiful, cuddly, necessary for the environment wolf."

It's pretty pathetic how dumb some of the people on there are.

Driving down Meadow Lake Rd the other day and a nice sized wolf crossed the road right in front of me. No time to get the camera ready. Definately a wolf. He crossed on a heavily used blacktail trail that runs down into a creek. My neighbor has ctv cameras on his roof in the same area and says he has video of wolves on his acreage. Havent been over to check it out yet but I will soon. I've been down in that area and seen tracks. I always thought maybe it was someones dog track because they were too large for coyote tracks. I guess those things are making there home all over the place. :(
