THE OLE MAN DREW WENEHA WEST

My dad drew the Wenaha west any bull tag.  I got a couple maps and we are heading over next thursday for a 3-day scout, can't wait.  Any tips on the area would be appreciated.  Hopefully, I won't have to pack him out, only a good bull..

lots of good places, that would be my 2nd choice tag after the watershed. good luck, lots of great hunting in there.

Scout the areas that have reallly big bulls in them. And then when the season comes, shoot one.  :tup:

 Had a multiseason tag put in for both bow and rifle and drew the rifle tag in 09.  Shot a 314 bull opening day, I could not help myself.  Us west siders don't see racks like that everyday.  You should see lots of bulls scouting.  We went in mid Aug and they were already screamin.  Get in shape,  had to pack mine 2mi, two grueling trips with two of us.

I'll give you a call Bucklucky when we get back.   I've warned my dad its pretty steep, so he started working out a little more this last week.  He has been putting in for this unit for the last five years and drew this tag with 15pts.
