I think I'm screwed now, we only planned on spending up to 25,000. But there really is nothing but junk in that price range. I should have never went and looked at those Outdoor RV models, wow, those are great trailers. The difference is night and day when you compare quality of an outdoor rv to a keystone or other models we looked at. We got the guy down a little but still the price is just over 40,000. And we still need a metal carport built for it. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, going to show the wife the trailer today. Sumner rv has some real good stuff.
I own an Outdoors RV Wind River. It is a 2012 model. I chose this brand because of the reputation of Northwoods and Arctic Fox. They build their own frames and are not lightweight trailers. There are lots of good things about these trailers but they are not the quality they make them out to be. They are built on an assembly line like most of the rest. Take a factory tour. Their quality control is mediocre but they do fix things as you work out the bugs. I had some pretty good issues with mine. They took care of the problems so that was good. But they use all the same materials as other manufacturers except maybe the frames.

And that was an easy fix. I have spent two weekends at the dealer in fife looking at various keystone trailers and every single one of them had stuff that needed fixed, every one! I'm very impressed with outdoor and at this point I can't see buying anything else. I could spend 25,000 on a OK trailer, or 45,000 on one that will last the rest of my life. It's a very tough choice, still haven't pulled the trigger. looked again last night with the wife, she is now also in love with the outdoor rv brand.
