ZenRay ED3 10x43 vs. Vortex Viper 10x42 (non HD)

Pretty simple. Has anyone had them side by side? Any recommendations?

Real simple.  I had the Viper original 10x42, it was my main glass for a number of years.  It went down the road because the ZEN ED and ED 2 beat it pretty easily.  The ZEN ED 3 is better than the ED 2.  In my experience, the Viper lost in detail resolution at distance, which is why most would opt for 10x to begin with.
