Cohoho,  I will get moer detailed pics up on here later of the boat.  This was the first time we ran all 4 riggers at once.  I thought for sure we would have had problems and lots of tangles because of the constant turning and bouncing on the bottom but everything went really smooth.  One more thing that I have to get is my bow mount.  Im going to go with the Minn Kota Riptide RT80/ST/CP/AP 80lbs. W/ the 60'' shaft.  Im wired for it and will use it for walleye and carp shooting. I will let you know when the tuna trip will be!

I will Bear, my bro and I are the only ones out of our friends that do it.  It is a kick in the pants!  Im waiting to hear from the guy, I talked to him on day two and he just bought a boat and wants to learn the fishery.  I will let you know when we are going to go back over so you can jump in.

Whenever anyone goes over and fishes for these Lakers..... please keep and kill as many as possible!!! These fish need to be removed from the food web.... the native cutthroat and kokanee populations will go back through the roof!!! These are the worst fish for the Lake Chelan food web possible.....

Last weekend.  7 on Sat. and this toad was the only fish we caught on Sunday.  Really slow for us as well as others we had talked to.

You want to get the REALLY BIG fish you need to go up lake a bit and get down deep to the 2000 foot holes.  :chuckle:

Yeah, it's hard to believe we have a lake here in WA that is that deep.
God Bless,
Scott

I'll be over the weekend of January 21-22-23 fishing with a buddy.  If anybody else is going to be over that weekend send me a PM and we can compare notes on the water or over a beer at night if you want.

Lake Chelan is at least 1420 ft deep at full pool (some say 1486ft).  Bottom of that lake is still well over 300 feet below sea level, though.

Just over 1400 feet deep. Hmmm, I have always been told it was about 2000 feet.

1486........2000.......reguardless it's friggin deep! I keep saying to myself that I'm going give it shot one day, but still haven't done it.

Do they make downriggers that go that deep? Could only imagine the size of a reel to hold that much line.

Scott
