Margaret access
« on: August 14, 2011, 10:45:53 AM »
Does anyone know how to find out the property boundaries up around mirrata creek or fawn lake area private vs huntable I know the red gates are off limits isthere other trailheads up there that access the area? I hunted down lower last year and did get a cow but didn't see a lot of bulls just wondering where I should concentrate my efforts I heard up higher in the unit is not as thick as the lower section. I lucked out and got a muzzy bull tag this year but can only make it  down a few times to scout any info would be much appreciated.

I too have a muzzy cow tag and have been down once already to scout it out, but was wondering if any of the previous tag holders maybe could shed some light on which gates if any they may open up for during the season? I see with my cow tag that came in the mail was another sheet that said Weyerhaueser would open a gate or two and that they would send me that info a week before my hunt. Just want to get feel for what gates might be open so when i go down again to scout it out i'll have a rough idea of what gates to look at, so if anybody that has done this hunt before in the Margaret knows feel free to PM me.
(P.S. Piled-up lets hook up, looks like we will be in the same area at the same time PM me.)
