Rose in the rain
« on: July 25, 2011, 10:14:50 PM »
Well, our 2 day summer was over today! :( Warm Temps and Sun were replaced with cool temps and RAIN! :(

Out of sheer boredom and the need to do something creative, I rushed outside during a major rainstorm to grab One Photo before I got drenched and without ruining my camera. As I started to do my editing of the photo I decided to change it from a color photo to a Black and White photo. :)  I think that one photo turned out rather nicely. :)

Yes I would say it did turn out rather nicely. Love the black and white. Don't think I have ever seen a rose that way though. It works. Nice job

I think the rose was melancholy and was hoping that sooner or later the darned rain would stop and the sun would come out! ;) :)

I'm just getting started with my first dSLR. Could you give me the particulars on that shot, ie lens, settings, tripod, distance etc.
Don't they call that exif info?
Thanks in advance
