873 pics!
« on: July 26, 2011, 12:35:57 PM »
Finally put my camera out last week and got 873 pics.................nothing but Ravens and Vultures.   :yike:  Guess it's time to move the camera and take it off the 6 shot burst....LOL.  Apparrently they like to sit and sun themselves on a stump my camera faces.

Been there. I wonder what the average ratio of trailcam pics of big game animals vs. everything else that triggers a pic is? It's probably at least 20 random pics for every 1 picture of a game animal for me, but I'm just getting started.

Checked it again today and had 200+ pics of birds.  Pulled it and moved it to a different spot closer to where I have had success before.

If you're batteries hold up and you have a big enough memory card you might want to leave it in burst mode.  I love having several different angles of a buck/bull.  :dunno:
