Hey now easy on Bushnell ... I have 2 bushnell banner scopes on 2 of my rifles which are 35 yrs old now and have been threw the coldest hunting areas on the east coast and still never have fogged up and have  worked flawless since I have owned them ....knock on wood

 :chuckle:
I've had three and the only one that didnt break wasn't mounted on a rifle. lol.
no hard feelings lol.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

not sure of your price range but you can get a savage 111 with scope (cheap but serviceable bushnell) and removable magazine for $429 at Cabelas.

These are some of the best shooting rifles out of the box that you can get.

$395.49 at lowpriceguns.    They are in Bellevue.

At $395 - $429 I am going to say this is the best bargain out there for a new rifle with scope and box magazine.  Got my son one on .300 win mag a few weeks ago and it is a sweet shooting rifle.

And for Bowhunter45,    I didn't knock the Bushnell scope, I said the scope was serviceable,  for a package scope you know it is gonna be cheap,  but no plans to replace it any time soon.
