Im no expert, but the majority I have seen where in the morning hours, but then again thats  the time Im out more than not. :dunno:

I have always hunted the Evening for bear.....Got a few by dumb luck in the mornings....but usually I focus targeting them in the evening...especially now that calling is my main way of hunting them.....

thats a dang good question ... I have shot bears up high in August when its been in the 90's but its been near water and right in the middle of the day ...now come September when I prefer to bear hunt it is good all day long ... when blueberries are ripe they are nothen but eaten machines ...I would say just hunt  :tup:

I'd have to agree, mornings in August. All day in Sept. I'd still hunt all day in August, though...

shot them at all times,but I like mornings for me...I really like when the thermals warm and move my scent up a drainage if Im in already in there during hot weather...

I like evening hunts (3 pm-ish on to dusk)...probably cause I dont like having to wake up a 330 am to beat the sunrise...

I've had lots of luck in the morning, I just prefer evenings. Im a night owl anyway.

I've killed more in the evenings but have seen plenty in the AM too.  I might have killed more in evening because I'm able to hunt the evenings all week long.
