What kind of info? My family has hunted that unit for over 30 years. Now we only hunt every other year or so.
Are you AHE? The unit is large, the locals spotlight and the natives over harvest. Everyone camps along the QRidge road. There are elk in there, ya just have to tough out the people.

What season are you going to hunt?
Rain
Early season archery is much different than late.
Rain
general Rifle much different than special permit rifle
Rain
Crapload of elk, lots of hunters in the modern season.
Rain
Did I mention that it rained a lot in this unit?
in 1998 (or so) my buddy and I estimated that it rained at least 20 inches in the week we were there.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

LOL.... Yes, I forgot to mention rain. (I guess I figured most would already know) We camp on the river and have had to canoe into camp in the past. The rain up there is like no where else.
