my ambassaduer went to pot on me many years ago, and i just had so many spinning rod setups layin around i never really had a need to get it fixed, but i just recently slammed my last good spinnin rod in the car-door so now im with out a casting rod. i just bought a new okuma sst salmon-herring 10 1/2 footer and need a reel to boot, but id much rather spend the $ on fixing an old reel than buying a new one (although i might buy a new 6601c4 anyway). ive had this reel for 12+ years as my grandpa got it for my 13th birthday, it has alot of sentiment...
is there an abu garcia repairman or shop that carries parts? i have a list of part numbers if that helps... not being on the water is driving me nuts as both boat and reels are dead........ (reels being the cheaper of the two to fix)
