Here is what I know.

Talked with D-Rock on the phone. He spotted the little bugger just off the path he was working up and spooked it up a tree. Doesn't sound like a very big bear but sounds like a pretty one. He mentioned that it will go a bit over 100 pounds and has a real nice white patch on its chest. Well, it ran off a bit and up a tree. He popped it once and it simply climed a bit more. 2nd shot took care of it and down it came. He has done the knife work so far and is walking back to get his cart to haul it out. He said he can't post pics from his phone. BUT........he is going to email me so I can post if up.
