Bear down in Skagit co ...

A buddy of mine called me at around 9am this morning and said he was going to take a hike out behind the house and about 10:45 he calls me back breathing hard  :chuckle: and said got em got em I said what ? he said I walked back their about two miles on the old grade and it was walking right at me .. wind in his face so he let in get about 15 yrds and nailed it ... it dropped right there....not a monster but a cool yellow patch down his back ...thought you might want to see  :tup:

Look at the hide how it is kinda faded in color plus not that thick yet .Here is a picture of one of my bears and this is why I like September & october bear hunting ...just as shiney as all get out ....Plus they put on a few more pounds by then too! :twocents:

I've got 5 or 6 Rugs in with those same markings.  Though none of them have that much gold going down the back.  Those are great looking markings on that Bear.

a lot like Killbilly's from a few years back, had a gold stripe on it.  Also a Skagit bear.
