Who wants to go fishing in the Everett area?
« on: August 08, 2011, 06:51:18 PM »
I am not a lisenced guide or anything, just a guy that likes to fish, and take people fishing. I remember what it was like to not have a boat. Now I have a 21' Seaswirl Striper and can fish 3 people plus myself comfortably. With gas at 4 bucks a gallon and 2 cycle oil at 25 bucks a gallon, it gets real expensive, real quick. If you don't mind kicking in around 50 bucks to help out, I'll take you out for 5 hours during the week from 7:00 till noon. I work nights so thats the only time i can do it. I have gear so you don't have to worry about that. The pinks are here, let's go kill some. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Sounds like someone needs a 4 stroke kicker in a huge way!
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Got one FC,  :chuckle: a new Suzuki 9.9. It's the 200 hp Yamaha direct injected 2 stroke that's the killer! :yike: Seriously though, it's a fun boat.

Where are you launching/fishing at to generate that kind of fuel bill? What does your boat weigh?

Well.... I'd go. I think you have my number still? I am available most sat-mondays. But, between going to tonasket once a month and hunting season coming right up, I going to be plenty busy. But don't let that stop ya from asking me.  :)

I went out on the water with Cap.Silver today. It was a fun day, although fishing was real slow. The checkers at Everett checked 10 boats with 3 Silvers and 11 humpies. We got 1 Silver and 1 humpie and lost a couple. Only saw 1 fish caught, about a 12-15 lb king. It should be heating up anyday now. Martin is a good guy, had some good conversation. If anyone ever gets a chance to fish with him, go for it. Tight lines everyone.

The King bite has been good on the west side of possession bar. Thursday I got a 10.4 lb hatchery buck and Sat we got a 10 and a 6 lb fish. As far as humpies go, I haven't seen many lately. Odd, but all I seem to catch is kings. Sorry about no pics, but I only get pics when my GF is out with me. I just never think to take the camera.

The humpie fishing is smoking hot out in the salt right now. Lots of limits being taken. My GF and son had a blast fishing this last weekend. Will get some pics posted soon.

Went out by myself today. I've had a tough time lately, custody battles, blah blah blah anyway just needed a little time to myself. Right off the bat I connect on a 5lb silver. Yea me! Since I have 4 humpies at home smoking as I fish, and about 10 already smoked in the freezer, it's catch and release the rest of the morning. I only fished for 2 1/2 hours and caught 2 more pinks and lost 1. It was by no means slam dunk, fast and furious, but a beautiful morning on the water. It looked like everyone else was doing about the same as me, one here, one there. I will be out again over the weekend after my tuna trip Friday. Good fishing everyone.

Wow, it's been easy limits lately on the pinks. The silvers have really picked up lately also. Last week we got a 10 and a 5 lb fish, then the other day we went out and got a couple 7-8 lb silvers and a couple 5 lb fish. Pt no Pt, and both sides of Possession are producing silvers and pinks. Get out while the gettin is good. This is one of the best years in many for local salmon fishing.
