STUPID COYOTES!!!!!
« on: August 10, 2011, 08:26:30 AM »
So a buddy of mine gave me a call the other day and told me that his dog had died about a week ago and they buried it under the big tree in their pasture with a nice cross. He loved that dog to death and had him for many years. Well yesterday he calls me and asks me if I want to kill some coyotes. Of course I tell him yes. I guess the coyotes came into his pasture in the middle of the night and dug up the dog that was buried in the field and had themselves a midnight snack. Needless to say, my buddy wants every single coyote dead within ten miles of his house. I want to help him but the problem is that we can only use bows because of the surrounding houses. I was thinking about setting up a stand in the tree and baiting the yotes for a week or so consistently and then trying to take a few of them one night . Does any body have any suggestions on tactics for this? If you do please let me know. He wants the coyotes dead!

Read New Decoys For Chicken Killers just below your posting in Small game/Varmint hunting.Shot that one from a tree stand. Could have used a bow. Get an infrared light and try at night with a call.

If you bait it could get tricky. If they don't feel safe coming in to the area they will wait tell night. AnOther option is a shot gun with bb

There are some nice .22 and .25 cal. air rifles out there now.  I'd do that if I had to hunt in a residential area.  I ordered my .177 Benjamin Discovery PCP airgun from Pyramid Air and love it.  Really does a job on Starlings and Sparrows.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
