Any Humpies on the Snohomish yet?
«
on:

and have they made it to the town of snohomish yet? I'm new to catching salmon in rivers so not sure when they get there.
Also, do kings and silvers hit the pink lures on occasion? Just trying to weigh options.
Thanks,
Buckslaya

A few are in the river. You will need to wait until the 16th for the Snohomish. Yes Silvers and kings will on occasion take the same lure as a pink. You'll need to release any king you catch there as they are not legal to retain.
Run up to the Skagit if you want to catch fish now. I was up there Saturday and Sunday. Brought back 7 pinks and 1 sockeye.

And I'm thinking it will still be early on the opener, but I guess we'll have to see what happens in the next week. I think by the end of the month it should be getting hot & heavy, maybe even a week or so before that?

It sure is not looking like the river is not going to have a ton of fish on the opener, people are still struggling in humpy hollow. Maybe this rain coming tomorrow will start to suck them through.

There is definitely some humpies around but I don't think they are real thick yet. I went out friday with a friend and we pulled 5, I went out today with heartsblood and we got another 5 with another lost at the boat.

The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
