another bear down (hopefully)

Buddy shot one tonight. hit him twice. went to go see if we could get him and bummped him a little bit. Found a lot of blood where he layed down but we didnt want to push him anymore and it was getting dark. Going out to see if we can get him in the morning.Hopefully ill have pics up by noon.

Just from my experience if you wounded him most likely he will find a cool damp place to lay down ... a bear will always lay in a damp kinda muddy area to try a heal himself.....and if he is not hit solid he will end up getting away ..at least hit in the shoulder you will brake bone and if for some reason he does not hit the dirt on the spot you will catch up to him for a second shot ...most bear I have hit in the shoulder will chase there tail in circles and tip over ...
