Awesome looking bear.  Congrats!
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

Very nice!  You pack him out whole, almost looks like more than just hide?

Not to be a wet blanket but I'm really glad you guys weren't shot packing that dude out like that.  Even though you're bowhunting, lots of guys with modern firearms are out there looking for a bear.

Maybe ... but that could be said of packing any animal out on your back.  :dunno:

I agree with Fred. Better to be safe than sorry. Anything wrapped around the animal is better than nothing. Flaggy, shirt, game bag etc.

I always bring a walmart bought construction mans vest.  Cost me 5 bucks, and I wrap it around my kill.  That is a nice bear and congrats!!!!!
