Dang bear stold my peanut butter jar!!!
« on: August 15, 2011, 06:10:39 PM »
I put out for the elk and this guy comes along and takes the whole thing. I feel a bear rug coming on for the new cabin. Anyone have any idea how big this one is weight wise???

Ya learn something every day.  I didn't know elk like peanut butter! Do they like honey too? :yike:
I'm wondering how long it is going to take before they make baiting deer and elk illegal.

Yeah elk love peanut butter. Hopefully they never make it illegal to put bait out for pictures. That would really blow. The peanut butter stays good for quite a while.

Cool! I wasn't trying to be sarcastic either. I'm not against baiting deer and elk at all. Nice pic too!

Yeah I was thinking he was kind of small too. However he seems to be making in front of me because he jacked my peanut butter and is sticking his tongue out at me while he's doing it. I figure fair is fair so I better stick an arrow in his heart.lol. :IBCOOL:

Just be prepared for the backlash because that bear has been baited which isn't legal when hunting them.....

If you really wanna stick him pull the pb and hold the j  for at least 30 days and come back for him... Otherwise you will be labeled as an illegal baiter by anybody reading this thread ( both law enforcement and members )..

You probably have all the trail camera guys looking over there shoulders now.  All those bait piles for pics and bears all over them.  I'm sure a few bear have been harvested, but not shown.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
