Berry picking with the grandson

found a bear tree, a late baby hope he makes it? and talked my grandson into taking his picture with some Indian paintbrushes. and a few berry's got it all on film thanks to the I phone..

Well if winter comes late, then the little guy might have a chance.

I always hear about a 2nd rut.  I guess that little one is proof.  Great pics.  Looks like a fun day he will always remember.

Ya, he had a blast and really enjoyed picking the Huckleberry's, a good year for them this year were last wasn't.  thanks for the comment Brian

Hello, He wasn't sleeping he was trying to hide they would even let a person pet them if you were genital  about it. but better to just move on, for the first week or 2 they wont run they always lay still and wait for mom to come back they say that, they don't have any smell then, so this is there best defense against predatory animals. but i am finding there feet in bear scat quite often lately think it is hard to fool a nose that good?

Spelling was never a strong point for me. spent to much time in the woods just did enough to graduate, at the time. It wasn't a concern to me But times, change and thank God for spell check or no one could understand what i was trying to put down. Brian

If you want to, i can get you lined out with were to go. deer archery opens up here the same day Sept. 1st so i will be busy with the opener but i can get you in the rite spot with a map? call some time if your going to be up here and will help ya out lots of berry's and seeing them on a daily basis.
