Don't miss that hunt.  I have been scouting it as well.  I have the Mudflow tag.  Lots of animals.  I am heading down on the 5th.  I would get a small rental car and pay for the damage deposit. 

you guys should carpool down seeing as hes hunting alone. might be nice to have a hunt-wa member to sit around camp at night and bs and share story's with, plus split the gas bill when it so expensive right now. i dont care to hunt with others but i do like coming back to camp and having people to bs with till its time to go to bed. real boring by yourself.

Ever changed out the radiator hoses?
Don't rule out a collapsed hose.  If they are soft to squeeze, replace them too while your doing the t-stat.

Got her figured out. I have a buddy that has a truck i can barrow. I was going to find a way down there regardless, just bumbed about the situation. Not going to even worry about my truck till october.

As for the truck. I changed the thermostat, checked all hose. everything checks good. If i get time between now and the 6th ill do a pressure test to see if i have a bad gasket. But with my buddy lending me his truck, i am going to put it on the back burner. Its been 4 years sense i got a my first bull, and my freezer is due.
