Would you guys just shut up?  Give it a rest.  Tired of hearing about...Arlington, Darrington, Sultan, Granite Falls, Monroe, Oso and now C-Post etc...  Good grief!  Let me give you bear hunters a clue...get out and start hiking/biking, whatever...  C-Post is NO secret, but do you guys have to constantly talk about these local places?

You're right C-Post is no secret!  But it's also no coincidence a dozen extra wanna-bee meathead road hunters are all over an area after hearing about it of the internet!!  I hear ya, sick of it too! it's ruined many of my areas  :bash:

Isn't that the point of this site? Throw out some info, help a guy out? When it comes to places that everyone knows it is rediculous to get mad when people talk about it.

From my first post, I have been told that that is not what this site is about. I won't be heading over to c=post anytime soon either. I remeber going up that road years ago and knowone ever went up there. Know plenty of people go up there and dump crap. Go ahead up there all on this site. I won't be over there any more  :'( To bad cuz I kinda liked it over there.

Hey guys, Eastsider here interested in west side info.  I hear there are a ton of bears on the west side of the Cascades, can you hook a brother up?  I've never hunted north of King County, but I hear there are good spots in the Arlington, Darrington, Sultan, Granite Falls, Monroe, and Oso areas.  I don't have time to scout, but I really need to kill a bear, will trade Blue Mountains elk, Methow deer and Skykomish steelhead info for a roadside honeyhole (I have medical issues so can't get far off the road). :)

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Yea, I just read about this place called C-Post. I'm going to head up there this weekend, maybe run into Bear from the site. We can meet up and have a site picnic. Anyone else want to go?  :hello:

:bash: :bash: What the heck???? I went out C-post tonight and I didn't see a bear, but I did see a lot of people.  You guys might want to come back towards Arlington a bit. Go up Brooks Creek.  You're in luck they are logging out there.  So guesse what??? You can drive it, the gate is open!!! Awesome hunting out there. Rumor has it someone took a shot at bigfoot, but they only spent three hours looking for him.

By the way I filled both of my tags already.  Anyone wanna know where I go? Pm me and I'll let you know, I might even take you out if I'm not busy.

What first post are you talking about? I can barely understand what you are trying to say.  So let me get this straight, talking about hunting Arlington, Darrington, Sultan, Granite Falls, Monroe, Oso, lets just call it Snohomish county is now off limits because its a "secret"?  Fair enough I would like to keep the following spots secret as well, Rufus Woods, Reiter ponds, the cowlitz river, bouy 10, Colockum elk, blue mountain elk, Colville (turkey and whitetail), Swakane, Snake river, Clearwater river, brewster pool kings, Lake Roosevelt walleye, Puget Sound Salmon, Winthrop, all inland empire paper land, Weyerhauser land, all coastal steelhead fishing, and Republic/Curlew whitetails.

I am not saying it is secret. But i guaranty that a lot more people are gonna show up in places like this cause of this site and I won't be one of them any more. I just started on this site and I got told that this site is not about giving away a hunting spot (maybe I was misinformed). I know that this area (happens to be the area I live in) is hunted a lot and is no secret. I am just trying to say that I don't like to find five other trucks parked where I have hunted with just my close buddies for years. Not trying to get on anyones bad side  :sry: But every year I find more and more people were I hunt and fish were there has just been me and a couple others

Yeah... people are driving as far south as Rainier because they heard of a good spot for sturgeon up this way cause they heard it from websites, paper and radio. i think everybody on here who is an avid hunter like myself, has there own honey holes to hunt and doesnt want it to turn into disneyland( c-post). There was two bears taking out of my honey hole this year by guys who never even shot a bear before, but because people cant keep quiet, i gotta find a new spot cause there taking everyone they know there.

And that is exactly what I am getting at. If you find a new hunting spot, that is great, but to many come storming to where I do, and I half to go find somewhere else. :bash:
