device not recognized

i have my tasco trail camera connected to my computer with a usb cable and my computer say device not recognized? what do i do? how can i look at the pictures?

There's probably some software that came with the camera to get it to interface with the computer.

As far as how to look at your pics...is there an SD card in the camera you can remove? Do you have a card reader? You'll need that or the software to download onto your PC so the 2 will interface together.

If it does have the sd card and you do not have a card reader on your computer you   cane use your digital camera if you have one that uses sd cards. pics are small but at oeast you should he able to see them. if that works you might try interfacing the camera???? Good luck.....we wanna see pics!

mine did that..then it said the computer needed to be restatrted and then it worked.  Most flatscreens these days have usb or sd readers on them..your computer doesnt have a SD slot?

you can buy a sd card reader at walmart or $10

Maybe he had the pictures go to his camera's built in memory??

sorry it took so long to get back to you guys i have been out of town, i have an sd card and all the pics on on it, im going to eventually go to walmart an by a card reader, thank you all for your help   :IBCOOL:
