Thanks everyone for their advise and suggestions, it is very appreciated.  We will be sure to spend some around Mammoth Hot Springs and along the Madison River trying to capture some good photos.  Also the drive over Beartooth Pass sounds awesome.  Thanks again to all that have chimed in and feel free to continue if you have more locations, advise, etc.

Yellowstone is one of the most magical paces in North America. I would definitely second The Madison. There was a great little video I believe from last season that had a great fight with the old bull that took out a young challenger in the river and limping off and popping off. That vid is from the Madison River. Infact, I found it -

Just got back from Yellowstone, HOT HOT HOT (temperatuerwise), T shirt weather even in the mornings.  Most of the Elk were up high still, only saw two bulls in 5 days. One on the Madison  and one half way to mammoth.  Saw only one cow at Mammoth, and it is usually loaded with elk right in town.  Need a real cold snap to bring them down from the high country and start the rut.  Lots of Bison in both Lamar and Hayden valleys, and saw a grizzley in Lamar vly.  Also saw herd of bighorn ewes by the north entrance and a few scattered antelope in Lamar vly..
Wish I could have been of more help to you, but have a nice trip/honeymoon.   Bring us back some pictures.....
