If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

I shoot a mathews switchback. I love it as it is very forgiving. I shoot the dang thing every day.lol.
But love of the wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need - if only we had eyes to see.

My belief is the Switchback was the best bow Mathews ever made.  Most of my friends that sold theirs to buy the next greatest thing from Mathews all regret the decision.  Not going to win any speed records, but it is quiet, easy to shoot and extremely dependable.

I'd say you did yourself very well! First bow or 20th that's a fine decision in my book.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I liked my switchback, very forgiving but slow. Perfect bow for a begginer or a veteran. It will serve you well. I ran mine over after I killed my bull in 2008 so I upggraded to my Reezen (mt favorite bow) . My wife still shoots her switchback and has killed 3 deer with it.
