Rainier Hunting Ret. Club Fall Test / Pig Roast / Auction
« on: August 08, 2011, 06:11:40 PM »
We're holding our fall test this coming weekend. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch dogs work. I'd encourage you to come out and watch dogs for a couple hours and join us for our first pig and chicken roast. Gasman-aka Pete, is cooking a whole pig on the BBQ at the hunt test grounds in Carnation. We're also going to have chicken and some other normal BBQ fixin's. (I hear rumor some homemade BBQ beans will be served by Pete's right hand BBQ man)

The cost is $15 a plate with 100% of any profit(which won't be much) going towards the club. We also have our raffle going on just after dinner. We have a new Remington Semi-Auto 12G camo shotgun for raffle and a zinger-winger with electronics. There will also be many other silent auction items available to bid on. Your odds of winning here are much better than any DU Event you've been to and you'll be eating Pete's famous pig, not some re-heated, previously frozen hotel banquet room food!

This is gonna be good. Bring the family and a cooler of beverages of your choice. We'd love to have anyone and everyone come out and join us. Please don't be shy about stopping out to watch. It's a great time, great people and great dogs. If you've never watched really well trained retrievers work, I can guarantee you'll be amazed. Kids are always welcome too!

We'll be at Bob Pepper's Retriever Training grounds on West Snoqualmie Valley Rd. It is just north of the blue bridge outside of Duvall.

Just to clarify a little bit....because I always get asked.....

Bob Peppers Retriever Grounds are just north of the intersection of;

NE Novelty Hill Rd and West Snoqualmie Valley Road. Coming from Redmond, come down NE Novelty Hill Rd and turn Right on W. Snoq. Valley Rd. Peppers is about 300 yards south on the left. You'll see all the trucks and people.

Google Maps and you'll find it......

Come early to watch dogs, show up around 5:30pm if you just want to eat and do the auction. Please don't hesitate to show up. We'd love to see some new faces. Go to the BBQ and find Gasman. That will be hard to miss!

Lets hope they can shoot a duck on Sunday!!!! putting them to work for an early season of duck shooting.....they'll have to shoot at least 30 before heading home!!
